The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in probably the greatest social and economic disruption the modern world has witnessed. In this brief statistical note, we explore its manifestations in Africa, with a focus on a few key features of the pandemic in Africa and an overview of some of the early responses by African governments to the pandemic.
