Foundation addresses inaccurate reports from Zambia

The Foundation has been made aware of serious inaccuracies in reports emanating from Zambia with respect to one of our regular security dialogues. We wish to set the record straight.

Over the weekend of 26-28th February 2016 the Foundation hosted a ‘Tswalu Dialogues’ event at Leopard Creek in the Kruger Reserve. A full report of the event, including attendees, is available on our website, here.

It would appear that crude attempts have been made to misrepresent the nature of this event in an attempt to link it to the treason charges currently being pursued against opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema in Zambia.

The Foundation remains committed to promoting economic growth, job creation, and peace and security across the continent, and such crude misrepresentations could not be further from the truth.
